Performance
I like to create a performance and perform on stage as a dancer and ethnographer. These are some examples of my choreographies and performances.

Refugee Dance Project: Dance of Home
Launched in Utica NY in 2015, Refuge Dance Project presents a public performance with members of refugee communities after a series of creative and movement workshops. More than 50 refugees from Thailand, China, East Africa, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Turkey, and Poland have participated in the project and presented performances across NY, CA, and TX. "Dance of Home" is developed in partnership with License to Freedom and Musical Ambassadors of Peace, and Middle Eastern refugee women and children in El Cajon. It invites everyone to feel and create their own "home" with a sense of respect, love, and empathy.

Refugee Dance Project: Love Means Love
Dance opens up room for alternative space wherein we imagine a world that is little more beautiful place to be. This piece is about love - how love becomes a resistive tool that transgresses barriers across race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, citizenship, and religion. Collaborated with TOXIK, a Karen dance crew who loves dancing to K-pop. Special thanks to Midtown Utica Community Center (MUCC) and MUCC director Chris Sunderlin.
